The Consumer Directed Personal Assistant Program gives patients greater autonomy in managing their care. Under the program, eligible participants can hire and direct their own caregivers, including family and friends.
You get to choose your team, manage your schedule, and get care all on your own terms. And best of all, your caregivers don’t have to go through additional training.
CDPAP - Your Choice
How It Works:
- A request is made to your MLTC/Managed Care Organization
- Your Personal Assistant (PA) caregivers enroll with our agency as Personal Assistants
- We contact your MLTC/Managed Care Organization for approval
- We act as your fiscal intermediary – we keep track of your schedule and pay your caregivers
CDPAP - Your Control
Through the program, you can maximize your involvement in your home care services. You choose your caregivers, you choose your schedule, you customize your care plan. Best of all, Margret Ultra Home Care is here to offer guidance every step of the way.
Don’t have Medicaid? No problem! We help patients enroll in New York State Medicaid and receive in-home care.
