What's the difference?
Our Skilled Nursing service delivers medically-necessary care, typically for individuals with acute or chronic medical conditions, post-surgery recovery, or other complex health needs. Perhaps you need a nurse to administer medications or change the dressings of a wound. Skilled Nursing often encompasses succinct visits focused on addressing the specific medical needs of a patient.
In contrast, in addition to medical care, our Private Duty Nursing service also offers personalized, non-medical and continuous care, often for individuals who need long-term care, and can include assistance with daily living activities, companionship, household tasks, and other non-medical support.
Both services utilize medical orders from your doctors to make sure we are taking the necessary steps to establish the best care that is right for you.
